Emotional Freedom Technique (EFT)
The Emotional Freedom Technique (EFT), also known as Neural Tapping, was born out of doctors’ desire to help their patients deal with phobias, stress, and fear. They stimulated acupressure points throughout the body, which was later streamlined and made available to the public as a means of self-treatment for emotional stress held in the body.
Emotional Free Technique is one of our body-centered therapies that aims to help relieve stress, depression, anxiety, and the lasting impacts of trauma. EFT incorporates similar philosophies and techniques as Eastern disciplines such as tai chi, yoga, and acupuncture. Ho’oponopono was born out of the necessity to resolve issues among the community quickly and efficiently. Many cultures around the world have adopted this traditional Hawaiian practice as a form of mediation that brings family and friends together to resolve issues, either over the phone or in person. Ho’oponopono provides a safe, comfortable platform to discuss issues so that resentment and hostility can be resolved and not left to stew.
A figurative indigo bowl is used in which people can place any issues they may have. The ceremony uses the healing power of Madame Pele (the volcano goddess that lives in the mountain visible from Exclusive Hawaii Rehab™) to heal everyone involved in the traditional ceremony.
