Mild dependency usually displays 2-3 symptoms, moderate cases show 4-5 signs, while heavy dependency manifests as 6 or more symptoms.

Negative effects of heavy drinking include severe dehydration, alcohol poisoning, and physical injury due to lack of coordination and impaired judgment. 

Drastic drop in blood sugar and temperature, along with symptoms such as vomiting, choking, irregular heartbeat, or asphyxiation, can occur. Alcohol poisoning can become fatal in severe cases.
