Michael Rett

House Manager

Michael is a former emergency response team member, holding a number of certifications including medication distribution, CPR, conflict resolution and is MANDT certified. As our House Manager, Michael welcomes new clients, making them comfortable as they embark on their journey to sobriety and wellness, and encourages them to open themselves up to find the change they are looking for.

Besides Michael’s long list of certifications, his diverse experience in working with mental and physically disabled adults in group home settings and being a part of the hospitality industry for 10 years, gives him a unique ability to offer excellent health care with cordial service.
Michael was born and raised in California before living 15 years in Wyoming. The Hawaiian Islands have always called to him and in 2018 he could no longer ignore the aloha spirit’s call, so he moved to The Big Island. He is happily married and a proud parent to four children and four fur babies. When he is not helping his clients at Exclusive Hawaii Rehab, Michael can be found enjoying being at or in the ocean with his family, or simply just being lazy laying around with his pup.

Friends and family would describe Michael as reliable, caring, and fun. His inspiration comes from seeing the changes that clients make week to week at Exclusive Hawaii Rehab’s program. Clients can also draw inspiration from Michael from his lesson to always show up and do your best.
