We researched many treatment centers and thanks to you, I’m so glad that we selected Exclusive Hawaii Rehab for my wife’s alcohol addiction. The 30 days at your facility for her was incredible!

She absolutely loved the staff and the facility. They really took good care of her. I was apprehensive when she first went there but talking with her and hearing how good she was being treated and sounded gave me relief.

She has now been alcohol free for two months ~ 30 days at the center and 30 days back home. She is doing incredibly well. She’s back to being her normal, happy, positive self again.

Thank you Exclusive Hawaii Rehab!

#1 Prescription Drug Rehab in O'ahu

Prescription drug use has become an increasing problem for many Americans affecting nearly 15 million residents across the nation. Many enter into a prescription drug dependency after trying to manage a mood disorder or pain they are experiencing. Taking the medication that a doctor prescribes can feel like a safe option for the treatment of the symptoms you are feeling. Many are unaware of the potentially dangerous side effects and addictive components that make up these drugs.

Exclusive Hawaii Rehab –  O’ahu provides our patients with a luxury treatment center that will look beyond your use of drugs. We firmly believe that using labels such as ‘addict’ only works to further produce feelings of shame and guilt. We see our patients for the remarkably resilient people you are. You have simply been managing the best you have known how to and have turned to prescription medications to take care of other compounding concerns within yourself. Through our holistic treatment methods, you will gain an understanding of the underlying emotions and causes that have fuelled your addiction. We use the treatment methods such as:

  • Core Belief Restructuring
  • Emotional Fluidity
  • Dual Diagnosis treatment
  • Mindful Inquiry
  • Emotional Freedom Techniques (EFT)
  • Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR)
  • Cognitive Behavioral Therapy

As one of three treatment centers in Hawaii, we provide our patients with exclusive therapeutic methods that move away from the standard 12 step models seen in industry-standard rehab facilities. We believe that you are special and unique as you are and that your therapy should reflect that. We don’t believe that a long-lasting change will be created by following the same guidelines for everyone. Addiction stems from unresolved painful memories and traumas from your past that have shaped your core beliefs about yourself. Through our exclusive treatment methods, you will gain an understanding of the core beliefs that have impacted your drug use. Once you identify what core beliefs have negatively shaped your perception of self you will be able to process those emotions to work towards new, positive core beliefs to set you up for success in your recovery.

Why Choose The Exclusive Hawaii Rehab - O'ahu for RX Drug Rehab

Exclusive Hawaii Rehab –  O’ahu is a luxury rehab center that provides patients with holistic measures of therapy that will heal them emotionally, physically, and spiritually. Long-lasting recovery from drugs requires the ability to learn a new, healthier way of life that provides outlets to positively and effectively let out tensions and stressors that may arise in life.

We adopted our therapy model of Experiential Engagement Therapy (EET) from the lessons of the great Carl Jung who theorized that spiritual growth and learning derive from immersing yourself in nature. As you engage in new, fun activities you will show yourself your innate ability to master new tasks and handle anxiety or stress that can arise when you try something new. EET is a format that allows for hands-on learning which is an effective means of therapy as it gives you the chance to put what you have been learning in therapy to the test. Many are happily surprised at their ability to manage the emotions that arise while taking on a new task. Our weekly excursions will not only provide you with therapeutic growth but will also give you the chance to see that a life of sobriety is still a fun way of living. You will be able to enjoy:

  • Dolphin therapy
  • Exploring world-renowned botanical gardens
  • Ziplining
  • Surf therapy
  • Swimming and snorkeling in the pacific ocean
  • Hiking up an active volcano
  • Music therapy
  • Art therapy
  • Equine therapy

As you engage in the exciting opportunities through EET, you can return to the treatment center and participate in one of our many bodywork sessions. A crucial, healthy component to living a life in recovery is taking care of your physical needs. Learning to listen to your body and providing yourself with treatment measures to address your needs will set you up for success in your sobriety. You can enjoy the following bodywork sessions:

  • Massage therapy
  • Yoga
  • Conscious breathing exercises
  • Acupuncture
  • Body sculpting exercise classes
  • Nutritional counseling one on one with our nutritionist
  • Craniosacral therapy
  • Guided meditation
  • Mindfulness practices
  • Reiki
  • Emotional regulation and release practices

Inpatient, Residential RX Addiction Program in O'ahu

Inpatient, residential treatment programs give patients the opportunity to remove themselves from the environments that have fuelled their addiction and give them the privacy and space to look inward for healing. Exclusive O’ahu provides patients with an environment that celebrates their individuality and promotes empowerment within our patients.

We feel that a successful recovery from a prescription drug dependency requires you to do the emotional work to get to a place of self-love and self-acceptance. Many times when you are at the height of your addiction, it feels foreign to be able to love yourself for who you are, and oftentimes you are overtaken by shame and guilt. Our compassionate counselors will work with you to see your full potential and recognize that what you have done during your time of prescription drug use does not define who you are. You merely did the best you could with the tools you had. Getting to a place of self-forgiveness is a freeing place to be and that is where your healing journey really begins.

While in treatment, you will gain connections with our staff and patients that are meaningful and impactful. Many who are battling prescription drug use, feel that they are alone in their struggles. By surrounding you with people who understand and empathize with the hardships you have experienced with addiction, you will see that you are no longer alone. A sense of belonging is one of the most impactful pieces to your recovery. When you have a connection you won’t have to feel like all you have to turn to is drugs. You will know that you have a supportive community around you.

Benzo Rehab in O'ahu

Benzodiazepines, commonly known as Benzodiazepines, are typically prescribed for anxiety and insomnia. Benzos work to provide the user with a calming effect that slows down the brain’s processing and nerve impulses allowing you the ability to manage heightened emotions and responses. However, if abused or mixed with other substances, it can create dangerous side effects.

As you detox from Benzos, you will be under close medical supervision to ensure your safety while coming off these drugs. It is not suggested to go ‘cold turkey’ and quit on your own. Under the medical supervision of physicians and nurses, you will be given the proper detox schedule including medications, natural supplements, and holistic treatments to have you taper off safely.

Withdrawal symptoms that can appear for patients are:

  • Irritability
  • Anxiety
  • Confusion
  • Memory loss
  • Psychosis

Withdrawal symptoms usually last for 7 days with the most severe withdrawal symptoms occurring between days 4-7. Once you have finished detoxing, you will move into your individualized treatment plan. For some benzo users, you may participate in dual diagnosis treatment to work through not only your prescription drug use but also your concurring mood disorder that led you to use benzos in the first place. A dual diagnosis program will provide you support in stabilizing your mental health without looking to substances to treat your symptoms.

Oxy Rehab in O'ahu

Oxycontin was derived from oxycodone which is a strong pain management medication for people experiencing severe pain complications. Oxy is a highly addictive drug that produces feelings of euphoria and when abused increases the user’s tolerance causing you to have to use more and more to get the desired effect.

It is recommended to detox from oxy under medical care to ensure that you can receive medical attention to any symptoms that arise. Depending on how long you have been using, the quantity, and the frequency of use, your withdrawal symptoms will vary.

Withdrawal symptoms that may arise for you are:

  • Mood swings
  • Nausea
  • Tremors
  • Sore muscles/joints
  • Flu-like symptoms
  • Chills
  • Insomnia
  • Blurred vision

Oxy withdrawal is not typically fatal for patients. Most have unpleasant symptoms that occur. Our compassionate team will work with you to keep you at ease through our holistic treatment methods while also providing medications if necessary.

Morphine Rehab in O'ahu

Morphine is an opiate that has been commonly used by many Americans. Nearly 10 percent of residents in the United States have abused morphine at some point in their life. Morphine is a non-synthetic opioid that has been used for pain management for a long time and many other opiates have been modeled from. Morphine can be used by snorting, swallowing, or injecting that produces feelings of euphoria.

Withdrawal from morphine is similar to other opiates with symptoms lasting for approximately 7 days. Most will find the height of their symptoms occurring between days 3-7. Withdrawal symptoms that may arise are:

  • Cold-like symptoms
  • Nausea
  • Chills
  • Elevated heart-rate/blood pressure
  • Tremors
  • Strong drug cravings
  • Muscle pain/joint pain
  • Depression

As you experience withdrawal symptoms, our nurses will be checking in on you frequently to adjust your detox schedule if needed. You will be offered holistic treatments such as massage therapy or acupuncture to help you relieve tension and toxins from your body. If you require medication to withdraw, those can be provided along with herbal supplements.

Meperidine Rehab in O'ahu

Meperidine, also known as Demerol, is a pain management medication that is not as strong as morphine but produces similar effects. When abused, it can become highly addictive and the user can become physically dependent on it. Prolonged use of Demerol can cause brain abnormalities and change the brain’s function.

Withdrawal from meperidine is not typically fatal but can produce unpleasant symptoms for the user. Symptoms will vary depending on your rate of use, length of time used, and the amount consumed. It is best to detox from meperidine under medical supervision to maintain your discomforts and have holistic means to detox available. Withdrawal symptoms can appear as :

  • Insomnia
  • Paranoia
  • Nausea
  • Tremors

Diphenoxylate Rehab in O'ahu

Diphenoxylate is an opiate medication that is commonly used for diarrhea. It works to slowly move your intestines to slow down your digestion to the bowels. When abused, it can create feelings of euphoria similar to other opiate medications.

Detoxing from diphenoxylate should be monitored by a medical professional to help you feel comfortable while receiving the holistic treatment that is offered. You can receive medications or herbal supplements to help ease any pain and detox treatment may include bodywork sessions to improve your sleep patterns and mood stability.

Withdrawal symptoms that may occur are:

  • Restlessness
  • Nausea
  • Vomiting
  • Stomach pains
  • Mood swings

Sedative Rehab in O'ahu

Sedatives such as Ambien or Xanax are often prescribed to patients that are experiencing feelings of anxiety, insomnia, or depression. Sedatives work as a central nervous system depressor to maintain symptoms of mood disorders. However, if abused, they become highly addictive and the more you abuse them the faster your dependence will grow. When misused, the user will become unable to have motor functioning skills, poor impulse control, and can experience hallucinations or DT’s (delirium tremens).

Making the decision to remove a sedative dependence can leave users wondering how they will manage the original symptoms of their mood disorder that led them to need sedatives, to begin with. A dual diagnosis treatment program will help you learn new methods of managing symptoms that do not include using prescription medication.

Our team strongly encourages you to detox from sedatives under the careful supervision of the nurses and doctors on our team. As you experience withdrawal symptoms, our team will provide you with medical, holistic, and therapeutic means of treatment.

Some withdrawal symptoms are:

  • Night terrors
  • Sweating
  • Chills
  • Tremors
  • Anxiety
  • Seizures
  • Elevated heart rate
  • Fever

Antidepressant Rehab (Zoloft, Prozac, Lexapro, Paxil) in O'ahu

Antidepressants are commonly used to treat symptoms of mood disorders such as depression, anxiety, panic disorders, obsessive-compulsive disorders, eating disorders, or post-traumatic stress disorder. When these medications are taken properly, they can still create a physical dependency and you will need a scheduled plan with the support of your physician to taper off of them. Antidepressants do not produce feelings of getting high when used, however, when users take them consistently, they can become physically addicted to them and may need support in safely stopping them.

It is highly recommended not to quit antidepressants on your own and abruptly as it can cause a chemical imbalance in your brain’s functioning. It is important to be medically supervised as you detox from these drugs. Withdrawal symptoms may appear such as:

  • Vivid dreams
  • Panic attacks
  • Hallucinations
  • Tremors
  • Headache
  • Fever
  • Nausea
  • Anxiety
  • Confusion
  • Dizziness

As you detox, we will offer you the support offered within our luxury rehab. You will have access to our compassionate counselors who will help to gain an understanding of your mood disorder and work with you to develop new coping strategies for the symptoms that arise. You can partake in the bodywork courses that are offered to provide you with a holistic treatment plan.

30 Day Rehab

After completing detox from prescription drugs, it is highly encouraged to participate in a minimum 30-day rehab program with us. During that time you will have access to our therapists and various means of treatment to help you get to the root causes of your addictive behavior. Once you are able to gain perspective on what has been driving your addiction, our counselors will work with you to reframe your core beliefs to ones that recognize your resiliency and positive attributes that make you who you are.

60 Day Rehab

If you feel after 30 days that you need more time within our program to continue your healing and self-discovery, then you are more than welcome to extend your stay. An extended break from your work and home responsibilities will give you the ability to focus on your necessary journey to healing without distractions. The longer you are able to focus on yourself and immerse yourself in our luxury treatment modalities, the better chance you will have a successful road to recovery.

90 Day Rehab

An ideal length of time to stay in an inpatient program is 90 days. If this is feasible with your schedule, you will provide yourself with the time you need to get the in-depth therapy you are searching for to make a long-lasting change. For some, you may want to participate in trauma therapy, the more time you have with us, the longer we have with you to process previous traumatic events that have impacted your addiction. The road to healing can take longer for others and that is okay. We want to give you the time you need to look within and find your passion for life again with our luxury treatment methods.
