Upon arrival, you will go through a detailed intake and assessment process so that our medical and naturopathic doctors will have all the information they need to design a personalized detox protocol just for you. Your detox and withdrawal symptoms will be managed by our medical director on a daily basis. Our doctors and nurses will closely monitor your comfort level and any withdrawal symptoms to ensure the process is as comfortable and painless as possible.  We use a slow tapering off schedule designed for each individual by our doctor to ensure that you safely adjust to biochemical changes that occur during this time. Your detox protocol will be updated and adjusted as needed. Detox at Exclusive Hawaii Rehab also includes holistic therapies like supplementation with vitamins, minerals, and herbs to support the body’s natural detoxification pathways. For anyone requiring an acute detox, we will transfer you to either North Hawaii Community Hospital or Hilo Hospital so that they can monitor you in a hospital setting until your withdrawal symptoms have subsided.
