Lead Therapist (LCSW)
Eric J Wolf is a Licensed Clinical Social Worker with a Master’s of Social Work and a Master’s of Environmental Education. He trained in Narrative Therapy at the Evenston Family center in Chicago and at the Vancouver School of Narrative Therapy.
As the Lead Therapist at Exclusive Hawaii Rehab, Eric seeks to support his clients in their pursuit of freedom from despair, lies and shame. He helps them reveal how the invisible is influencing their lives and strives to give them back the reins to their own lives. His greatest wish is for the people who see him to find the best ethical choices and to return to their dreams.
Eric grew up in New York City. Before moving to The Big Island in March 2021, Eric lived in North Carolina in Earthaven Ecovillage. He is the 2009 winner of the Oracle Award from the National Storytelling Network for his work on the Art of Storytelling podcast, which aimed to spread the art of storytelling around the world. He interviewed 121 storytellers for an hour each on how they use their art form to impact the world.
People who know Eric would describe him as a listener, wisdom keeper, and storyteller. He is passionate about the environment, which is one of the things that drew him to Hawaii. He loves the raw wildness of Hawaii and the generous hearts of the people. Eric lives by the lesson “Your life is your gift”.
