Marisa serves as a Counselor and Case Manager at Exclusive Hawaii. Currently pursuing her MSW, she is also a Yoga Therapist specializing in C-PTSD and recovery. Her practice centers on mind-body therapeutic approaches that help individuals deepen their relationship with themselves through somatic mindfulness practices.
Drawing upon over 1,000 certified hours of trauma and grief-focused yoga training, Marisa provides clients with evidence-based tools including breathwork, meditation, somatic movement, yoga nidra, and sound healing. She is passionate about empowering individuals on their healing journey and supporting them in reconnecting with themselves, others, and the world around them. Marisa honors each person’s unique story and recognizes that healing is a non-linear process that unfolds differently for each of us.
Outside of work and school, Marisa enjoys exploring the natural beauty of Hawai’i with her two daughters through hiking and snorkeling/ freediving. An avid runner and sailor, she also nurtures her creativity through film photography and music.
